Global Antiquity is pleased to announce a new series of brownbag lunch talks. These are intended to provide a casual venue in which UCLA faculty and affiliates whose interests span the diversity of ancient worlds can workshop current research projects and receive helpful feedback in an interdisciplinary environment. Lunch and refreshments will also be provided.
The first of these events will feature Professor Sarah Beckmann (Classics, Cotsen Institute), who will speak on The Trouble with Cupids in Royce 306 on Friday, February 23. Lunch will be provided at 12:00 pm with the talk beginning shortly thereafter and followed by a discussion until 1:30 pm. Please see the flyer below, and we hope to see you there!
