Islamic Studies and the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Cultures invites you to the next in its series of After Antiquity Graduate Colloquia. On Tuesday, February 25 at 12:00 pm in Kaplan 398, Professor Matthew Keegan (Asian and Middle Eastern Cultures, Barnard College) will deliver a talk titled A Scholarly Idiom of Sovereignty: An Ayyubid Prince’s Defense of Abu Hanifa. The presentation will be followed by a discussion, led by Nihal Khan (PhD Student, Islamic Studies) and Professor Luke Yarbrough (NELC, UCLA). As always, lunch will be provided.
