The Andean Working Group is excited to announce its first event of the year, organized in partnership with the Architecture Working Group and the Digital Archaeology Lab at the Cotsen Institute of Archaeology. On Thursday, October 19th at 4pm PT, Dr. Giles Spence Morrow, Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Anthropology at Vanderbilt University, will present his research in a lecture entitled “Thinking Through the Tool: Immersive Virtual Reality at Mawchu Llacta and Huaca Colorada, Peru.” This event will be hybrid, and we invite you to join us in-person in the Cotsen at the Fowler Museum room A222 (where we will serve light refreshments!) or on Zoom.

Please be sure to register, as prior registration for the event is required for all participants, whether you are joining us in person or online. Register here: https://tinyurl.com/GSMAWG

If you have any questions about the event or issues with registration, please do not hesitate to contact Rachel at rachelschloss@g.ucla.edu or Gabriel at gsilvacollins@g.ucla.edu
